Knowing Verizon, your monthly bill won't be $140, it will always fluctuate due to "reasons" and they are known to dick around with every customer.

They lost me when they removed auto pay discounts and jacked up the price while I was still in a "contract". Same thing will happen again.

we have VZ for a long time... their customer service is terrible. it will take at least 20 to 30 min. to reach a live agent, and they would give you different information if you had to call them more than once. they will charge you $35 upgrade fee and $35 activation fee just to upgrade to a new phone.

I'm interested to hear how the customer service is for other carriers.

This ^^^ I get to talk to VZW reps every two months. They sneak in some charge or one of your credits disappear. And when they disappear they back charge you for the months you received the credits.

Been a Verizon customer for almost 20 years. Service went down significantly over last couple of years. T-Mobile is much faster with better coverage

Verizon is a complete scam! They never keep their promises and are constantly raising prices. Within your first year, they'll label your current plan "Grandfather plan" and you better believe you're gonna be charged an extra $5 per line if you refuse to switch to the new plan. And guess what? Even if you do switch, you're still gonna get hit with that additional $5 per line. Absolutely ridiculous!

Had all 5 of my lines jacked up over the course of a year, year and a half. Then, when that didn't work, they reduced my auto-pay/paperless billing discount by $5 a line which, in effect, jacked my bill up another $25 per month. They basically tacked on $50 a month to my bill all because I refused to switch to their new plan. The real kicker was chopping the auto-pay discount on me. When I even considered moving some of my lines to the new plan, they told me the phone discount I was getting would be removed for leaving those plans. That was like $22 a month, so I would have been losing an extra $17 a month, per line, by switching. You truly can't make this stuff up.

I been Tmo for over 10 years but no more deals, grandfathered on simple choice. I jumped on this deal. Saving thousands on phone, went through customer chat and got activation fees removed. Plus the 200 gift card on top is nice. Will be paying 40 more with fees than tmobile. Price lock for 3 years is good. Then will jump ship. Have friends with verizon and they have no issues. bill will be 140 with automatic 4 phones plus fees and taxes. im.sold

They love to raise the "administrative surcharge" fee. Think they're up to like $4 on each of my lines now and it started at $2. Speaking of, I do believe they are due for another increase. I actually got some paltry class-actions settlement from them because someone sued them over it haha.

so let's say you take advantage of this offer and 18 months later, for whatever reason, decide you want a new phone. If you cancel all of your lines, do you just need to pay off the remaining $180 for each phone (18 months of $10 bill credits), or do you also owe an early termination fee for the remaining 18 months of the line?
No early termination fees, essentially you pay off the remaining balance of the phone if you want to consider that an early termination fee, although I wouldn't. I assume you just used the $180 as an example as even their cheapest iPhones/Samsungs will be more than that even at 18 months. They essentially used to subsidize the phones to lock you into a contract with an early term fee. Now they just make you pay the phone off if you try to split.

Might go up a little but with the free phones, and the 200 giftcard. Basically makes future 3 year increase not a huge deal. Can't imagine they would increase 5 per line over near future

Ah I forgot you forfeit the remaining bill credits, so it should be 18x $33 or so

I know it's definitely night mare to deal with Verizon Customer service. But this deal with Ultra Pros is pretty exciting.

Interestingly i have the same experience with ATT. i wonder if it's a better idea to just buy the phones myself and get one of those low expense mobile carriers like mint mobile.
I just bought a new phone from the manufacturer. I've been with Verizon for 20+ years and am going to bail for Google Fi. I am SO tired of being jacked around by Verizon "service" agents. They have great coverage in my area but the premium price isn't worth being lied to or having to call multiple times (and wasting an hour or more) to get something fixed that THEY screwed up!
