Definitely can't be right. You mean $55 a month.

If it's really locked in for 5 years though, that's decent deal especially if they let you get free phone with bill credits.

Reading it, the phone line is only free for the first year afterwards it's probably $40/$45 extra per month.

looks like it 55 a month for the cable and they throw in the mobile free for one year

Xfinity just gave me 400 mbps for $30 a month for 12 months using my own gateway. For $25 more they will supply their gateway and unlimited data, which I don't need.

Yes, sorry, I haphazardly typed it.

The phone line is free for a year.

Anyone have advice on how to get this deal for existing customers? I have a $160 cable and Internet plan and want to cancel cable and go to Internet only and get this deal

A very reasonable price. Are you getting unlimited data though or is it extra cost after 1.2 TB?

It's really tough to pay less than that, their low income plans are $15 and $30. Though they give you the gateway + unlimited data usage in that price. The speeds are much worse.

I just signed up for the 400/40 plan at $25 month - good for two years with 1.2TB cap. There was an offer to go with a free phone line for a year, but in the fine print Comcast required to keep this line at the regular price in the second year, otherwise the price was going back to the regular ~$80. I assume that this may be similar trap.

You can also get almost 3x the speed (1.1Gbps) for $10 more and it includes 2YR Peacock Premium.

5YR 1.1Gbps modem unlimited data for $65 isn't bad.

Long time customers of Xfinity get shafted. I pay $65/month just for 300mbps Internet, even though I also have xfinity mobile. Thinking of canceling because I also have Astound 300 Mbps at $20 a month, and it's fiber.

Not a great deal, especially with how expensive the mobile plan has become. The mobile plan effectively becomes a contract if you take their 2-year phone subsidy.

I am guessing after the year I won't be able to cancel the cell plan and keep the internet at $55.

Nice deal but Xfinty is the worse! I had them for six years. That was the only available internet in my area as soon as I moved I switched to AT&T fiber. The internet sucks and the customer service is horrible. I was telling them I wanted to cancel because I was moving they were giving me the run around and trying not to cancel my service.

Good luck. Corporate likes to punish loyal customers.

Do it. You only really need 300mbps for video and downloads. Unless you're torrenting.

If you think xfinity is bad, you've never had Optimum. Xfinity is ok, when it works. If your monthly is too much money, call and ask to talk to the retention dept and explain you are switching, they are great at negotiating a deal to keep you.

Usually you just need to call them to cancel when the price goes up. They always give you the new subscriber offers. I typically do it no other real option, but you have one. Just call them. It's unfortunate you have to do this, but it works.
