These were $40 pretty regularly/consistantly over the past year. They've never been the list price, and the "previous price" of 54.99 was an inflated price during feb/march. That said they seem to be lower than they've ever been

I'm in need of similar binoculars, but I'm not certain that these are the ones I'm looking for. Might want to wait and hold out for something in the next tier up. If anyone can speak to their quality, I'd love to hear about them.

Edit, deal is dead. I should have bought when I had the chance.
