  • 4 LEGO Super Mario figures from the Donkey Kong world – Funky Kong and Diddy Kong, plus a Snaggles to flip out of the way and a Mole Miner to defeat
  • Ride the mine cart with LEGO Mario, LEGO Luigi or LEGO Peach (figures not included) around the track and 'explode' the rock to reveal a bunch of bananas to 'eat'
  • Buildable Funky Kong's airplane/shop – The airplane has 2 Action Tags to activate special reactions in an interactive figure (not included): 1 when buying balloons and 1 when 'flying' the plane

Just by piece count, this is really low cost. Maybe hard to move units because the name 'Diddy' is so unpopular right now.

That's a LOT of pieces for something so...fragmented. I am just thinking about what happens after my kid finishes this build and now there's like 6+ pieces that are seemingly disjointed all over the house.

This is exactly what happens. Though we do have a bin just for these sets. They just end up getting beat up and fall apart never to be rebuilt as original. We always could but never do.

Kind of what happens to all Lego with kids! I try to keep sets complete too though.
