Pachenko for finding this deal.
Note: May be going in/out of stock
Available Options: All Certified Refurbished Steam Decks include: - The same one year warranty as a new Steam Deck (unless longer as determined by your country of residence)
- A refurbished power supply - fully tested (may have minor cosmetic marks)
- Carrying case and Quick Start guide
Features: - Portability meets power. We partnered with AMD to create Steam Deck's custom APU, optimized for handheld gaming. It is a Zen 2 + RDNA 2 powerhouse, delivering more than enough performance to run the latest AAA games in a very efficient power envelope.
- Your Steam Library, anywhere. Once you've logged into Steam Deck, your entire Steam Library shows up, just like any other PC. You'll also see the compatibility rating of each game, indicating the kind of experience you can expect when playing. You can dynamically filter any view in your library by compatibility rating if you're looking for specific sorts of experiences.
- Control with comfort. The Steam Deck was built for extended play sessions—whether you're using thumbsticks or trackpads—with full-size controls positioned perfectly within your reach. The rear of the device is sculpted to comfortably fit a wide range of hand sizes.

I no longer have the Sony magicgate card reader otherwise I'll be able to transfer game saves from my PSP.

Definitely watch some YouTube videos and read on reddit on how to do a lot of the customization options. And this also has the ability to multi-boot into other OS like Batocera and Windows 11 as well.
Emulator and works fine. Tried MK8 on my laptop and works fine. Haven't tried it on steamdeck yet.
First thing i did when i got mine, Heroic and added my amazon, GOG, epic library. Now i have 900 games ready to download and never play 🤣

Emulators, Heroic launcher for other app stores, booting into Linux, playing Xbox cloud through Microsoft's official instructions (link [microsoft.com]). The Steam Deck is a really fun device.
The hardware is getting a bit long in the tooth. Still plays even modern AAA games on lower settings, but a day might come when that isn't the case. Hopefully the install base is big enough that game developers continue to build in a "steam deck compatible" quality setting. Even if not, there is always the backlog of quality older games to play, plus Xbox Cloud Gaming.
Existing Switch 1 emulator code might be adaptable to Switch 2 relatively quickly. Switch 2 performance when undocked should be considerably less than its docked performance, with lower clocked Cortex-A78 cores and Ampere. That's what SD2 would need to catch up to at a minimum.
If Steam Deck 2 ends up with something like Zen 6c and RDNA 4/5 in a custom SoC, it should be in a good place. We would want FSR4 support to counter the use of DLSS on the Switch 2.
