But I totally agree with your statement though about the headlights turning the entire rear view mirror into a white screen on cheap quality cameras, but that doesn't seem to be an issue for this camera, or brand.
I bought 2 for mine. Every 6 months or so I'll swap them. Take the existing, plug it into my pc, do a full low level format/scrub to ensure it's still good, rinse, repeat.

Hopefully this is even better with STARVIS 2. The mounting, 32v64 mem card, IPSvTouch screen seem to differ also.
