Can anyone whose used both a 27+32 inch QD OLED chime in here.
I bought the HP Transcend 32inch QD OLED off a crazy deal last week for 700. For just regular productivity and youtube, the quality BLOWS me away, and the inbuilt speakers are really something else, just amazing. Gaming in HDR, yes I would prefer it was brighter, but seems to be common issue across all QD OLED monitors at the moment, especially compared to larger sized LG OLED TVs like the C4/G4 etc.
So does this brand new Samsung 27inch G8 bring anything new to the table that I'm missing on my HP transcend ? I dont have a 5xxx series card, only a 4090 so I dont really care about Display Port 2.1 DSC.
So really it comes down to QD 4th gen vs 3rd gen panel I guess and higher PPI of 32inches vs 27 ?
I believe this is the same panel as the Alienware one which I got for about $500 after accounting for various cash back offers including my Amex and Chase credit cards.
Ironically I have bad eyesight, even legally blind, and got the asus version of this. lol. Because I have to sit close no matter what, anyway, so I am still going to see the difference in 4k.
But sadly so many monitors bother my head so I may have to return it and get a stupid VA monitor for now.

It is, but each manufacturer still does their own calibrating of it and features and whatnot. The asus version has very top notch calibration out of the box, whereas the dell is nowhere near as accurate, according to RTINGs. Who knows if it would be noticeable, though. But either way, there are differences.

Why? You envy their good eyesight?
So do you want to come over when I get it delivered or how does this work?

It's this deal effectively $1000?
