Lot of red flags. Please look at the ingredients - high fructose corn syrup, palm oil. So many ingredients..

Umm, the box also says it's an excellent source of vitamins and minerals, and in much larger print. Plus it may contain traces of almonds, cashews, and coconut which are all super healthy.

Exactly. People focus on the dumbest stuff when your overall health basically comes down to how many calories you consume. It's easy to eat a lot of calories if you eat processed foods (concentrated calories) like poptarts.

You go out, you do some walking, you eat....sugar spike will be less and you enjoy it fully.

Compare that to poptarts...without knowing, you will be sitting in front of TV and gobble up on a regular basis.

There are degrees to this stuff. Each packet (and the box contains 4 packets, with 2 pieces each)... so each serving is 35g of sugar. Assuming granulated sugar, that's around 3 TABLESPOONS of sugar per packet.

At those amounts, you're very literally better off eating a slice of sugar on toast both health-wise and taste-wise.
