Never tried these. Willing to take a risk, since there's little likelihood for (the usual) infamous Amazon shipping damage. The expiration date is another story, as it's not at all uncommon for these types of items to be short-dated. When it's a larger quantity, it's a bigger risk. Refunds are possible, but it's a PITA with Amazon. Regardless, these sell for $3.69 (somewhat less expensive if you purchase them in 2 or 3 packs) at Target, so this is a very good deal! Thanks, OP!

Great value for a high-protein, organic mac & cheese option. At just $1.25 per box, this is a solid price considering Annie's typically retails for $2.50–$3 per unit. Ideal for quick meals with better nutrition than standard boxed mac. Shelf-stable and kid-friendly, too. Worth stocking up if you're an Amazon subscriber.

Idk when the last time you've done one of the returns for shipping damage or date, but it's super easy now. They recently released an ai chat or for returns. So even if it says "no returns" just request a chat and tell the bot it's expired and it'll likely initiate a no return refund. I've done this a few times recently, once with damaged packaging and once for short dated food.
Thank you, these are a god send to get protein for my picky eater kid and is actually her favorite Mac and cheese, but lately they are nearly 4 dollars a pop when they aren't on sale at the grocery store.

Stocking up is perfectly fine....but there's a tendency for items like these to be short-dated, so buyer beware! Refunds on short-dated food products depend upon just how short-dated they actually are. Using these multiple times a week may not be a plan for everyone. Additionally, 12 is the limit in order to receive the full discount.

The "bot" option isn't always available. I've received a good deal of and/or short-dated (even outdated) food items in recent months, and I've had the "bot" option only two out of 8-10 times. Perhaps it's related to the time of day, but it's not necessarily routine to get an automated resolution.

Tbh sounds like you do a lot of returns then and they probably want to make it more difficult for you for that reason

Not "a lot". This is over several months. It's inevitable with Amazon food products! I wouldn't be surprised if they cut deals with manufacturers for older, short-dated inventory (which they get dirt-cheap), so a percentage of refunds is already factored in. Insofar as damaged items are concerned, that's also inevitable, since they never protect things as they should (and that applies to everything that they ship)! For example, a cracked open jar of mayo that was shipped in a large paper envelope and tossed around like a football!😠 Just because it's plastic doesn't mean that it's indestructible!....but that doesn't seem to matter in the least on planet Amazon!🙄

This is dried pasta and powdered cheese. You can eat this five years from now.

Meh, the manufacturer's expiration or best buy dates on dry goods like this can be ignored for the most part. They are fine for weeks or months past that date.
