So the Slim drive version is on sale now for $450. That puts it at $130 for two years of premium (normally $320) so still a good deal, but just make sure that you're a) fine with the fat version and b) will actually use premium. I converted all my years to premium till 2027 back when it was announced (only cost ~$40) and have maybe played two or three premium games in the last two years.
edit: and big thing I forgot - you're also missing out on astro bot which is AMAZING (thanks Surfdog1000)

They're probably talking about the fact that they closed 100 stores in 2022, 1000 stores in 2023, 960 stores in 2024 and plan to close a significant number in 2025. Let me guess, you're still bag holding?
And yes, GameStop has been closing stores left and right. Their death bell is starting to ring.

If I hadn't just traded in my almost year old slim to get another one with a warranty for about $100 out of pocket I probably would have picked up this bundle, especially since it comes with the two years of Plus Premium. Though I think I can count on one hand the number of games I tried when I had the regular version of Plus. I only ever used it for the multiplayer and cloud saves.
Speaking of trades though, with the current Pro Week promotions going on a slim PS5 is getting 30% more ($385) as the extra Pro percentage promotion of 20% instead of 10% and the one promotion that usually only works on games and peripherals is stacking. The promotions almost never stack.
These are NOS (New Old Stock) from a couple years ago. Sony doesn't manufacture this version of the PS5 anymore. Some people are interested in not having their disc drive connected to their PSN account. They might be interested in picking this up.
Ironic because their employees act and move like zombies. Looking for a bad customer experience? Go to GameStop.
Aside from new employees who try being sales robots (and thankfully never last) my closest three Gamestop stores have great employees.
Of course having worked retail multiple times I've seen every kind of customer there is. The ones who realize that we're just doing a job and human beings are the best. The ones who expected us to come when called and treated us like servants? They can follow The Rock's sage advice about where to stick their attitude. Had one guy whistle for me after "hey, hey you" didn't work. I wanted to deck the ignorant pos.
