So the Slim drive version is on sale now for $450. That puts it at $130 for two years of premium (normally $320) so still a good deal, but just make sure that you're a) fine with the fat version and b) will actually use premium. I converted all my years to premium till 2027 back when it was announced (only cost ~$40) and have maybe played two or three premium games in the last two years.

edit: and big thing I forgot - you're also missing out on astro bot which is AMAZING (thanks Surfdog1000)

Just bought this, haven't opened yet.

Going to try to regift the console.

Is the PS plus just a voucher code I can redeem without touching the system?

If only this was the Pro model. I want one but not at 700. I'll stick with the regular fatty for now. This a good deal for a new PS5 owner though!

Yeah, its a voucher code located in the box with the manual. Don't need to activate on that particular system, just redeem on PC or PS app. I redeemed the code and passed the system along.

If you're going to buy a new system I would definitely do so sooner than later as Sony may follow Microsoft and Nintendo in raising the price of their systems and games. As it is Sony has already increased their price in every other region except for the US and that includes a hefty increase to the Playstation Plus pricing as well.

If your interested in a Pro and you are open to buying one that isn't brand new, it's usually not hard to find one locally for $500 or so that is still under warranty. Most are trying to get more but not too many will walk away over that extra $50-100. I'm wanting to say that I saw that BB had them at one time under $600 but that changes daily and I could be wrong too. It's a worthwhile upgrade IMO but particularly if you have a good display.

My funny experience with these, not these exactly because mine has a carbon fiber-look pattern for the buckle and it is a rubber-like belt. Buckle function and overall design is identical, it's from Amazon and this company probably has so many similar companies that are the same product just different variations also different names(same factory I'd be willing to bet money) annnnnnnnyways… I got this belt for free when one of my father's friends ordered 2 and they sent him 22 on accident and told him to keep them. We were out having breakfast and he gave one to my father and I. I through it in the closet, I did not want to be rude and not accept his kind offer… so a couple months go by and my belt that I usually wear breaks so I put this one together and use it for the night. I fell in love 😂…. Never did I think a free belt, one that I didn't need or want would make a difference or leave a good impression. It's just a belt but the ratchet-click tightening mechanism is actually very handy. You can make it as tight as you want and if you need to loosen it a bit you just click the button, and it loosens to about where you need it to be. I'm not big, 6'4 maybe 200lbs with a full stomach but the adjustability is so convenient and has so many click points. I can't relate to the people saying it's cheap, it isn't high end, but I have two(my dad didn't use his) and the only thing I can complain is the teeth that dig in the actual belt it self when you first assemble it can get loose but it's maybe every 20-30 times you use it it wiggles a little, which you just readjust it, even as I'm typing this I'm realizing I'm making this sound worse than it is. The plastic notch system where the metal clicks on to is very durable, composite-like I would say. I don't care for the looks of mine because I am a T-shirt untucked with jeans type guy but with how cheap these are even if the faux leather isn't that durable it should be a decent dress belt and better than any belt bought at Kohl's for a fraction of the price. I would get another color like brown or tan because both mine are black but I rarely dress up 😂 hope this helps someone! My favorite belt ever 😀, had these for a little over a year, maybe longer, and both are working just as they did when I was given them.
