It's not recommended for VR gaming. if a VR game boots you'll probably have to make so many compromises that it makes it unplayable.
Retro games 100%, esports games 100%, you'll get decent performance in 1080 at lower settings.
But don't expect new AAA titles to be super high FPS. And don't expect games to get high FPS or high resolutions.
You can search youtube for 680m and the 6800h performance in games
A few games that can run on a potato, but that's it. These aren't gaming machines.

Just an FYI, Windows 11 does not support VR any longer.
But, you can use the NVME m.2 slot to add an Oculink eGPU, BUT that means that Windows/Linux can only use SATA.
Might have to mod the case to allow the panel to close though... And limited to PCIe 3.0 speeds.

I own the Asus Rog Ally Extrene which has the 780m. I would not purchase this for gaming. I'm waiting for the next gen graphics to drop and then I'm purchasing. I think it's the 890m is what I'm waiting for
