Why are there so many versions of this controller, the 2, 2c, 2c wireless, 2C Bluetooth, 2.4G, Ultimate etc.... I'm never sure which one people are recommending or reviewing.
They knocked it out of the park with this controller. I loved my Gamesir Cyclone 2, but this has become my new favorite. Feels fantastic in the hand, and despite not having any metal bits, feels extremely solid.
Anyone know what the diff is between OPs post and https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F194QFT2 ? Cant find diff bw the two but this is more $ and doesn't ship til end of month

You have to go through Reddit, watch YT reviews and each drop bits of info of unpublished support for iOS.
An example is a Reddit thread where 2C has a beta firmware to support iOS, but perhaps due to licensing 8bitdo can't officially publish. Another thread saying how to switch DInput vs XInput mode (also unpublished)
I went with this deal bc ultimate 2 wireless is latest iteration and I will use it primarily for PC and Steam, but future undocumented iOS support would be a win. My current DS4 controller finally dying.
Does this have motion controls like if I was using it for a switch emu
Yes, they call it 6-axis Motion Control (gyroscope). Ryujinx / Yuzu / Cemu should be fine
But according to the AI

According to the product information, the controller is compatible with Windows PC and Android devices via 2.4G wireless, Bluetooth, or wired connection, but it does not mention compatibility with Nintendo Switch. However, customers report that it is not compatible with Nintendo Switch.
I am still rocking Xbox 360 controllers for windows. They only need a single receiver/dongle and it's nice thay there is a LED that shows which conroller/player you are (matters for certain games).
Will 8bitdo require 4 receivers/dongles for 4 non-BT controllers?

Each controller either is an upgraded version of its predecessor, is specific to a certain platform (e.g., PC, Switch, or Android), or has specific features not found in another (e.g., BT/Switch Compatibility, back paddles, a dock, a dedicated L4/R4 button, TMR/Hall Effects vs ALPS joysticks, pressure sensitive triggers, etc.).
I love this controller except for one tiny little thing which is the grips are angled weird for me. They are too close together IMHO. If you don't think that will annoy you then this is an amazing controller.

More of a general question than anything, but what all is new between Ultimate 1 and Ultimate 2? Seems like the main difference between this and the Ultimate 1 is TMR joysticks, one additional button on the front, joysticks lights, and additional trigger button on each shoulder? Maybe something about light on dock?
Anything else?
Is it worth it over the Ultimate 1 controller? I mainly ask, as the Ultimate 2 controller is more expensive than the Ultimate 1 controller. Like the person up above said, I'm mainly interested in the Switch variant.

Is it possible for multiple controllers to pair and connect with one adapter?
No, each adapter can only support one controller connection at a time.
