I still have a balance remaining on my last Costco SW gift card. But honestly, with all their changes and downgrade in the customer experience, I'll be flying with other airlines that have better routes and times. I only stayed with SW because of the 2 free bags, and the fare change/cancellations not expiring. After May 28th, that all goes away! And so will I.

No. I would recommend buying a WGA+ ticket now and cancelling it. Then you will have a non expiring transferable balance in your account

Just wait till the next Costco sale on these. Way better deal 430 for 500.

southwest new "very unpopular" policy begins 5/28. getting a $100 SWA gc is better than getting stuck with a $500 one from costco, kwim??

I still have $2000 of sw gc from Costco. I love them before because of the open seating and free checked bags but their prices and flight selection were not good most of the time so always ended up booking with another airlines. And yes now with the change, I am not sure when I really get to use my gc.
