Like why even mention it then. (Referring to the Amazon title not OPs)
About $600-900
I've got the Milwaukee M18 too, and if I had to choose only one to keep, that'd be it. Reasons being: the M18 has a riving knife, slightly better ergonomics & a blade-change lock, and only needing 1 battery is a nice plus too.
That said, this Makita 36V is still an excellent track saw, one of the best available. Plenty of power, nice and smooth/quiet (for a saw), good ergonomics, good fit/finish, no issues in my experience. Got a smoking deal on it back in 2019 with two rails, 4 batteries+charger - for just $470 (just for reference - obviously that can't be replicated now).

Makita is compatible with the festool tracks.
Is the M18?
..which also happens to be the main reason why I haven't sold the Makita yet. I don't have dedicated tracks for the M18 😅
I did it and in my opinion it was worth it, but if you're willing to spend $1,100 and return the Makita extractor resulting in paying $328 for the XGT plunge saw. The sale is still available at Home Depot. Add the $1,100 extractor vacuum, add the XGT plunge saw as the free tool then they split the cost with the plunge saw doing $328.

Powertec work just fine and are much cheaper. I have 2 54" that I keep joined together and a single 54". I also have a second joining kit to join all 3 if needed.
