I have had one for 2 years and it's still working fine. We use it almost daily for lattes or to dispense hot water to make tea. I run it with RO water and do the clean cycle once every 4 months or so.
I will say that its a great machine for this price, but it's MSRP may lead you to think it's fancier than it is. It actually almost always sells for $250-350 and that feels more appropriate. Feels more like a $299 machine that you pick up on sale for $225, if you know what I mean. I'll probably upgrade to something fancier if it ever breaks, but if my budget didn't allow that I would have no problem buying it again at $190.
My wife has used hers daily for a couple years with zero issues.
