Or just follow the boglehead 2 or 3-fund portfolio strategy

Is that going to work in a regime where the administration is determined to destroy the stock market and the value of the dollar?

Might want to look into so non-usd-hedged foreign bonds funds to insulate yourself from the coming collapse of both

Bogle and Buffett - among many others - said it frequently: don't bet against America. If you're day trading, you need to stop and look at the big picture. Don't get caught up in the day to day of politics.

Besides that, the current admin is personally heavily invested in America. You think with the people in there, including the head of it all, they'd intentionally destroy their and their families portfolios? I'm not buying it.

If it doesn't, then we've got much bigger problems in life than retirement.

Rented this book at the library. Only got through a few chapters.
The advice is older than your grandpa with some updated advice at the end of each chapter.
The basis of the book is nothing is predictable so who knows what the right investment strategy is.
It is similar to a boomer giving advice to someone young on dating or getting a job.
So what exactly is the point in wasting my time reading this?

nope, just scalping options - rarely holding more than 5 minutes.

This was "dated" information when I read it 40 years ago.
