Personal experience here, so take for what it is worth. Ordered a home base and eufy sent me the wrong product. Customer service was useless and refused to allow me to return on their dime. They made me pay for return shipping and even reduced my return value for the original shipping on their mistake.

Not knocking their products, as I still have several and would add more but would not buy directly from eufy, but would find other vendors.

I have (had) these cameras. I have not been more disappointed in a camera as much as the 2C pros. Detection sucks and I miss so much due to it cutting off early or never getting the videos which were captured by other cameras.

Does anyone know if these are a significant upgrade from the regular 2Cs (1080p)? I have a bunch of regular 2Cs and they are so-so. Detection and image quality (daytime) are decent, but notification speed and video playback response times are all over the place. I have no problems with their doorbell cam or wired cams.

This is a fantastic deal. I use eufy and love them. This is far cheaper than you could get any of the individual components for

I managed to replicate the setup, but there's no mention of "HomeBase 2" anywhere.
You can grab the same kit without the HomeBase on Amazon:

If this version does include the HomeBase, it's an amazing deal. Just keep in mind that HomeBase 3 isn't compatible with Apple HomeKit, whereas HomeBase 2 is—so if you're in the Apple ecosystem, this could be perfect for you.
These are not solar camera, like in your link

No expandable storage. These are really unreliable. Most times they miss motion all together and other times they will start recording after a seconds on motion so they are able to pick up someone walking away but not them approaching. Mine are on the highest sensitivity and set to all motion. These might be fine in some situations but don't rely on them too much.
Second it for an older version that cost me about 50$ with the base year ago.

Awful tempting, Ive been eyeballing them things but I have a big dog (Alaskan Malamute) who'd probably be setting it off all the time! Besides I've always had big dogs (mostly Rotties) and with them and in addition to a fenced yard and fake cameras all over the property I never had any problem with anyone breaking in, knock on wood of course!

Great price if you can get the codes to work and you want unreliable security cameras. I'm a long time user of eufy products as well as arlo. Both have their pros and cons but eufy has proven tune and time again to be flat out unreliable. I have 3 e340 doorbell cams that decide on their own when they want to detect deliveries. I have pulled my driveway, gotten he mail and unlocked my front door and get ZERO detection when the cameras are set for all motion, detection zones and max sensitivity. An hour later i get detection fir the neighborhood cat walking down my driveway. I have a solar cam that for whatever reason records and sends an alert for motion detection every night at 2:09 am. When i open the app it usually takes anywhere from 5 to 25 seconds to load a live view IF I don't get an error message that the camera cannot load. These are not security cameras and they should not be relied on for your safety or convenience. I thought about trying the 2c but it would just be a waste of money. Arlo detects motion much more reliable but they also have their problems. Why do I continue to use them, because I have hardwired cameras that record 24/7 and eufy/arlo are just play toys at this point.

These are frustrating. The battery life is great and the image quality is good. I've even dropped one from 8 feet onto concrete and it still worked great.

However detection is stupid. Some weeks it'll pick up everything from a cat to a person, other weeks it'll only pick up cars and some weeks it'll pick up nothing. This is AFTER I've changed the settings/detection level/area and left them the same. I'm not sure if eufy keeps changing things in updates but it's annoying to specifically remove an area where a dump truck shows up at 4am every Wednesday only to suddenly have your phone loudly ding because your camera decides to notify you after ignoring it for months previous.

Another annoying thing is the app.. you go on it and it's advertisement after advertisement. I bought your product already, leave me the F alone!!!

I bet your wifi matters as well… I get notifications now for everyone who walks their dog in front my house from e340 wired, then shortly my e30 floodlight wired in driveway… shocked how well it picks up people

My wifi is eero pro mesh… just a thought as it is the opposite of what you are experiencing, and I was surprised how well it worked

I also have homebase 380 with ssd installed, tho I think that helps most with stitching videos of a person passing by several cams, which also works pretty decent

Thanks OP. In41. Even though desc at bottom "what's included" mentions only 2 cams.

anker/eufy makes a decent enough product, but they force you to buy local storage and then only allow you to access it via their servers. If actual local storage and being able to access your own footage without a third party middleman is important to you, then you'll want to avoid anker/eufy.
