Lol this is the worst thing Bosch has ever made. I think they made one run, and the original batch are still on the.market from 2015. 😆

Unfortunately I would have to agree with you. I looked at purchasing one of these on clearance several months ago, and the charge speed was actually slower than the stock chargers you get with the 18 and 12 volt batteries. As nice as it would have been to have a dual charger, it just wasn't worth the money.

I love my Bosch Tools, but amongst all the brands I use, their 18v chargers and batteries have the most failures (the 12v seem to never have an issue though.)

The mid speed charger (I think it's the 6?) It would last around 7-10 months. They were tired of sending me replacements and just sent the fast chargers instead (which lasts up to 18ish months)

The problem is the fuses they use in the chargers. They just don't last.

As far as 18v battery ... they are awesome batteries, but their loss of capacity is ridiculous. I'm not sure what the culprit is. Perhaps the tools pull too fast and too hard? I really can't figure it out (I'm not electrical in any way.) But no matter the tool, the batteries will drop to 50% max holding charge after 24-36 months.

The good news... Bosch gets you a replacement fast.

So stay away from their $150 18v impact driver and drill set from Lowe's?
