Make sure the restaurant you go to or want to try accepts it, some cities have limited restaurants that take it

List of locations that accept it

In for 2 but this used to be regular price until they increased to $80. I guess this is the new deal but it can be annoying to use.

That was Christmas time. Probably will come back around then again later this year.

They recently took away a restaurant I liked a lot and now I'm left with some credit! It happened from one day to another!

Hope you're right. I stocked up on 3 at the time. 40% discount really put it over the top compared to other gift card deals.

Edit: Some people have pointed out the math below doesn't quite make sense. Bonus =/= discount and I muddled the two. Loading via Costco GC is strictly better, hands down.

This deal is just OK. If you have reservations planned already and plan on spending a lot, its better to charge to add funds through the App. The minimum is higher to get decent bonuses, but the transaction codes as dining, so you get 3x depending on your credit card.

Bonus if you add funds via App: Pay $999 to get $1,275. 28% bonus and the 3000 credit card points.

P2 and I recently dined at the Gramercy Tavern in NYC. This Michelin star restaurant surprisingly accepts InKind, so it was nice knowing I was getting 30% off everything on the menu. I will consider buying giftcards from costco if it hits 40% off.

They have decreased the perks significantly in recent months.
Last year you got a monthly 10 off 30 promo.
They've completely done away with that and I haven't been offered many other bonuses either.

They do still have referral perks, so for new accounts ask a friend (don't DM me: I'm not soliciting). referer gets $25 credit after their first meal (min. $50), referred new account gets $25 off $50.

they also have a birthday promo, I think it was $25 off $50- so it's worth inputting the info into your profile.

Might not be the same for you, but FYI multiple restaurants in my area dropped off the search map/website for some reason but still work and show up if you go to the Pay Tab in the app. YMMV but worth a check.

No, they used to have this deal every 3 months. $70 was regular price and they used to have $60 deal quite frequently. I wish i knew about this earlier....like two years earlier. I exclusively go to restaurants that accept inkind in NYC. I wish i stocked up more when it was $60

I think you're off here. The 30% discount at Costco would be equivalent to a 43% bonus, which better than the highest bonus inkind gives.

In your example, you're getting a 21.5% discount plus 3% credit card to net you a roughly 25% discount. Costco gift cards on sale net you a better deal (whether committing to the gift cards. Is worth an additional 5% discount is another question)

Inkind seems to works great in big cities with well established dining scenes like DC

I wish I would've posted earlier! I missed out on two promos because I thought the restaurant is gone! Hahaha thank you for this tip!
