The only real value in this was when they use to give you priority access to high-demand items. Now they let Ebay scalpers get a hold of everything you might want.

My GameStop still had a sign for $10 with new game purchase FYI.

But agree with everyone. There's not enough perks to make this worth it. They should do what Walmart does and have the Pokémon cards drop for pro first. Maybe even have the promo cards for pro users as well.

Pro would be so much more useful to me if it included free shipping, or at least a lower cap. With the store closures what was once abundant is now scarce, travelling 20 miles for $5 isn't worth the effort.

They just closed the only Gamestop within 45 miles of me. Gave their employees 3 days notice before they closed the store. Screw them, to the moon and bankrupt this company!

For PS5, where do you see $385? When I go to the trade in website, it only lists it at 330 for store credit.

Bought a used PS5 Disc (fat) for 200, thinking of trading it in for the PS5 Slim Disc Astro Bot bundle. If I'm able to get 385 then the 510 it would cost me for Pro membership and new console might be worth it. I'd get a warranty (plus another year using the remaining amount with my credit card) and another game.

They shut down game informer magazine, stopped letting you use $5 credit on game store gift cards, AND raised the annual price.I was a pro member for over a decade, looks like that's over for good.

Yeah, the only reason I renewed was that it made sense for a specific sale they were doing that basically made it free. But otherwise I don't see it being worth $25 without Game Informer. Most people probably use the $5 coupon on trading cards, but they raised the prices of those too.
