Yeah me too. I have the g8 and still debating whether to get this one or not.
I have a Razer Kishi and while it's very portable when closed, the controls are subpar and I'm not entirely comfortable with plugging in my phone every time.
The G8 plus looks way more comfortable to use and Russ's review on Retro Game Corps sold me on it.

Placed a US shipping order on Aliexpress last night for a little over $10 more. Cancelled in time, before it shipped. Sweet.
I can confirm that the $30 shipping charge did not appear at checkout. I took a screenshot of the order confirmation page, in case something happens. But, considering Walmart is managing the transaction, I don't think there's room for any shady business. And unlike Aliexpress which has written policy stating that they can add fees after it ships (tariffs and duties at customs), Walmart doesn't do that.
Side note: The seller appears to be the manufacturer of these - I didn't realize they had a Walmart storefront also... good to know!
A review of this, from a source I trust. Skip past the stuff on the Switch (unless you own one - then you should really watch!), but the other half of the video is a comparison review to other similar controllers for mobile gaming. Seems like great quality at a reasonable price (especially considering the new tariff situation). Never been into mobile gaming b/c I don't like touch controls, figuring/hoping this will open up a few new doors. And, might be the last chance to get one at this price, for a while at least. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r...mc0&t=718s
Edit: heres the review of the original G8. Very very similar experience, aside from small differences mentioned in the previous link, the most notably is obviosly the USB port. This one is a bit more of a well rounded review, including a comparison to the Backbone and Razer options. Short story: Gamesir wins. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBdC6KJeQsI

Great deal. I paid $35~ for the non+ version last year to replace my aging razer kishi and I love it. These GameSir controllers showing Razer and Backbone that a great mobile controller doesn't need to cost $100+.
I was able to get this on Temu for $35ish. It was $52 but I kept it in the cart for a while as I mulled over whether to get it or not. Then Temu just offered an odd $17 coupon to bring the cost down to $35. Should be getting it next week. There's also 18% chase back offer from another popular site.
Update: received it a few days ago, it's a legit gamesir controller with all the accessories. Was hoping it would allow for phones with cases but if your phone case adds too much to the overall phone width, it'll have a difficult time fitting/staying in.

Noticing that the description says "wired". Seems like an obvious typo, considering it's the G8+, and is the color of the G8+, and lacks the USB port on the G8. And, the details of the item list the right features. Or maybe it's because there's a photo of someone using it with a wire connected to a PC?
Regardless, another reason to take screenshots, making sure that the "G8+" and the image of the controller are visible in order details. And an image of the listing page, showing the typo there, but also listing "bluetooth" in the specs. I'm almost certainly being paranoid, but it's minimal effort and doesn't hurt.
Seems like a insane deal. I tried one of these late last year and paid like 65 bucks for it, and that was scraping around for the best deal possible. Everything about the controller was amazing, very high quality buttons and sticks and especially the vibration. Dare I say it the motors on this are higher fidelity than my $800 dollar ROG Ally X, which feels cheap and crude in comparison.
I might pick up another as a spare. These are especially great for those emulator phone enthusiast folks, I find it works very well for the Galaxy Fold series !
+1 on excellent quality, it feels much better than backbone/razor ones. this is decent deal, grabbed another one here since Ali and Temu is kinda doomed right now.

This is the lowest price it's ever been.
