People keep bringing up this $211 deal like it was a common sale. This was a flash in the middle of the night, like 1am, that sold out by the 9th post.

I have not seen it anywhere close to that since.

That said, I do hope for an under $300 deal to show up again, currently Microcenter has it for $299.97 (no free SSD).

That was not even a month ago, give it time. The point is, like the past generations, the precedent has been set and the ice is beginning to crack. You can see the average price has been declining and while it may not reach $211 again, I would expect it will definitely fall below $300 in more flash deals. It's probably best to wait and pick one up then.

paid 350 last month from newegg, basic board will be around 100-125(asus prime), gaming board start at around 160, i paid 150 for a used asus tuf z790 d4
