Anything that can be easily knocked off and has a high profit margin likely will be knocked off on Amazon.com. E.g., toothpaste, likely fine. Sonicare toothbrush handles also fine. But these plastic brush heads that likely cost $0.50 each to make--high knockoff potential.
Best way to buy these: CVS with their occasional 30% off or 50% off coupons. I'm all stocked up now at half off with high assurance that I didn't just get ripped off paying $7/ea for a fake brush head.
If you're not going to get the quality brand name version, just get the drugstore brand product to begin with.
The Philips handle is nothing remarkable. The markup on it is because of the brushes and brush design that's proven to be effective. The handle is basically an ergonomic dildo with a connector for a brush. It just vibrates on a timer.
An air purifier is just a fan with perhaps a gas sensor that can speed it up or slow it down. The efficacy of the filtering comes down to the filters not the fan.
I'm all for generics for certain things, but these ain't it.
And I don't trust amazon's supply chain here. Too high of a risk for knockoffs. I'll wait for a sale from someone who doesn't comingle their inventory.

Or one can get said knockoff realize it's not worth trying to save $10 a YEAR for definite worse quality and they end up in a drawer and you end up costing yourself money like I did
I'm generally a fan of knockoffs. In fact, my real Rolex sits in my safe while I wear a super clone replica. However, the quality difference between the real and fake brush heads for these are insanely huge. I would recommend brand name only for these brush heads. The price savings is very minor.

If you get 2 years minimum out of 4 tooth brush heads that's really disgusting
