I love mine. It's dramatically lighter and easier to fire than my classic made-in-new-jersey Arrow T-50. Whoever first thought to put a belt-clip on one of these deserves a kiss on the forehead.

Will it last as long? I really don't know. I've had mine for about 8 years. Keep your tools clean, don't throw them or drop them. Carbon fiber doesn't like UV, and the resin probably doesn't like to be cooked over and over. I use mine in a shop context. It will probably hold up a lot longer than in a work-truck.

Not sure what benefits this has over others. For a few dollars more you can get more than twice as many fastening options!

I like the idea of the one listed being lightweight at the least.

Lightweight and it takes less force to punch staples. Love this thing, great for when you're out at the range too

Just so you know, this isn't really carbon fiber fabric composite. These are injection molded carbon reinforced plastic. This does help with strength, but it's not going to be any more sensitive to UV than any other polymer. Maybe slightly less, because carbon is actually impervious to UV. It's the epoxy resin in real carbon composite that is sensitive to UV.
