Pretend Youngblood doesn't exist unless you have it free from Prime Gaming in February. While they're are some slight hints of older games in the series, you can 100% start with The New Order as your first game in the series.

What you said is totalllly a reasonable viewpoint, games can suck or not, but just "girls as the hero? Ick get back to basics" should get called out for the nonsense it is.
Haven't played it personally, heard it really needs two player co-op as that was how they intended it to be played and haven't had time to rope my wife into it when we have so many games to play already that don't have bad reviews lol.
Coincidentally, I guess California is the most far right state as well, as they are now the 4th richest economy in the world.
