I'm guessing this can be 3D printed as well... but with the price of the filament + time will come close.

I personally picked an aluminum one from Lowes a while ago. It was a few bucks more, but I think, for me, it was a better investment. I do like to thinker with woodworking in my garage.

Half Square deal literally. Swanson does make good metal ones, but for $4 - a few plastic ones would do even one lasts a single job.

This isn't a good one. The pros know. You want one with 1-1/2 bar across the top so you can quickly layout your KS,T,T and double sill

I don't disagree that there are better squares but for 4 and change it's nice to have several of them around.
The square you have is far better than the square you don't.

"Composite" means something made from more than one material. This is made of only plastic. That's fine, I'm just saying it's weird that they are trying to make it sound like it's not a plastic square.

If you do any wood or tile work you need one of these and one of the smaller ones. These are great. Easy to spot, easy to use, draws straight lines.
