Sold and ship by Simplego. This seller only has 80% ratings. Plus, seller address is in China. If ship from there, you will need to deal with custom and tariffs.

I've had great success with Vevor products. I know they're just one brand of many under the same Chinese company but they've been great for me and very reasonably priced. I agree this is a good gamble when you consider the comparable cost of a soldering gun and station from a big box store. $20 worth it all day. Vevor typically will not accept returns but since you're buying via Amazon then Amazon will eat ye cost if it arrives damaged or broken.

Mine arrived yesterday, it's much more plastic than I was expecting, but for the price there is no complaints.

I've had a bunch of cheapo solder stations. All of them ended up failing. Sometimes at the worse possible time, while doing a project. I've learned my lesson. I'm going to spend more money on one that will hopefully be dependable.

Vevor don't produce anything. The company have other manufacture produce the product and stick Vevor label on it so no spare parts or warranty. The company will denied or ignore your warranty. The solder iron only $20 with many accessories so worth the risk.

This uses what look like some pretty old school 900m style tips. There are C245, T12, and TS100 irons for similar prices, and some are USB powered.
I don't think I'd buy an iron that isn't one of those three formats if I was going to use it often, USB is so convenient for portable use!

Some the crappiest Chinese goods I have ever purchased came with a Vevor logon on them! Vevor customer service is also the worst. I bought a $600 item from them and it arrived looking it had been run over by the delivery truck and Vevor offered me $5 off and refused the return. I ended up having to file a chargeback against them that my bank approved but that takes a while! I would avoid Vevor, at least something like this with only 3 reviews and 2 say it is cheaper than expected. Think about it how quality do you expect a $20 soldering station to be then remember these reviewers were disappointed
I bought a Yihua 939D (amazon) and that is a great soldering station. I also bought a https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08PZBP...e_0_1&th=1 Just a a super cheapo soldering iron to use for heat set inserts and I must say if you need a cheap soldering iron it is not bad. digital controls and it heats up pretty fast. I haven't actually soldered with the
Liouhoum but i have used it many times for heat inserts and it works great! Especially for $10!

Pinecel all day or similar portable USB c irons. I use a powerbank & it will work anywhere. Very fast heating speed. Maybe 10 seconds to fully warm up

Direct heat irons like pinecil and such, where the heating element is directly integrated into the tip, are much better than old style irons like the one in this post, where the tip is a separate piece of metal that just sits on the heating element. Direct heat irons heat up to working temp much faster (a few seconds as opposed to a few minutes) and maintain the working temp more evenly as well since it can bring the tip back up to temp much quicker. These days I would always recommend getting the direct heat irons, which are quite cheap now, the only caveat being that the individual tips are more expensive than the old style tips where you can get a variety pack for like $10. And as someone else mentioned, a lot of the modern direct heat irons can run off of USB-C rather than AC, which is more handy than you think since you can plug them into a 65W or 100W battery bank and go anywhere.
