Having had hands on experience with two B4s, the interface is noticeably more laggy, both while adjusting settings in menus and using the built in apps, due to a lower end processor. It lags more than my 2 year old C2. Granted once you get your settings the way you like them, and if you use a device like an Apple TV 4K, Roku or Fire Stick, those things aren't a big issue. The bigger issue is the B4 doesn't have Dolby Precision Detail for Dolby Vision content, which is also because of that processor. Precision Detail is a setting only available on the Cinema Home and Vivid (don't use vivid) presets, that noticeably increases the brightness and detail of Dolby Vision content even further. Even the C2 has that feature. The B4 is also a few hundred nits dimmer. If none of that stuff matters to you, the B4 still has the same great color and image. It just has those drawbacks.

I wish LG would just sell this for $1500 and stop trying to throw free sound bars at us.

No this is BS
One panel maybe, two panels mmm IDK
But FIVE , FIVE PANELS IN A ROW in less than 300 hours total on time?
That is NOT "bad luck" that is a systemic widespread problem with quality control.
LG = Life's Garbage
I would never touch another one their crappy products ever again with a 10 foot pole and even with a 10 year warranty.
People just want to cope and not admit they bought trash and will shill and cover like fan boys before they admit they got burned.
Their TVs are pure garbage and the software is a perfect example of just how bad they are with quality control.
BOTH voice assistants never worked with the TV, I did a lot of research trying to figure it out and I found that this was a known use and other people who tried even harder than me couldn't get it working either.
I have had these things since 2016 and am able to get even the cheapest crap from AliExpress to work with Alexa.
And that is what I ended up doing.
A wifi IR universal remote from AliExpress I got for $1.70
Works with Alexa and the Tuya smart life app to control this TV along with literally hundreds of thousands of other devices but LG couldn't even get their TV to work to even switch on or off of mute or control volume?
They advertise the TV as having those features and they eve put dedicated buttons on the magic remote but they do NOTHING.
This just goes to show you what piece of šŸ’© company they are and how much they actually care about any kind of quality control whether it be for software or hardware.
They give no F's whatsoever at all.
The same standardd are obviously in place when it comes to their hardware because there is absolutely no excuse to have five panels fail in row and in less than 300 hours on time across the span of almost four years.
It's just all a bunch garbage
You're very clearly in the minority here.

These panels are great and consistently last a long time.

They are both bottom of the barrel garbage.
LG processing is the worst out there.
Great if you like artifacts galore ( TV wigs out of it sees stripes ,fine lines or any kind of tight knit repeating patterns)
But web OS and Tizen make the TV unusable , especially if you are planning on using anything but the TV speakers
My LG C1 reverts constantly to the TV speakers.
If you can't afford a Japanese TV then either save your money or set it on fire either one is a better option than buying Korean trash like LG and Samsung.
My LG OLED has not even 300 hours on it and the FIFTH PANEL just went bad today.
I never got any use out of this worthless hunk of šŸ’©
Big Blu line top to bottom straight down the middle again.
The OS was so bad ( not for built in apps I never use them I have fire TV and Google TV streamers and gaming consoles)
I just never used the TV out of frustration because the basics never worked.
Alex and Google assistant were broken since day one, never worked
The CEC isa total crap shoot ,my AVR doesn't switch on half the time and 90% of the Time it does it goes to TV speakers not the AVR, even bought a new AVR to see if it fixed the problem after spending hundreds of certified 8k 48gbps cables and fiber cables, Aventage ( another piece of crap that is worse in every single way than my old AVR) nothing helps and it actually got much worse.
TV has less than 300 hours on it and was repaired 6 times and is broken again with a bad panel every single part replaced at least twice and the panel changed four times now.
The image processing on my C1 was the worst I ever seen and I regretted taking my old panny plasma down from the day I got this worthless piece of šŸ’©

The original panel was bad right out of the box, vertical Blue line down the center top to bottom.
The next three panels all has flickering lines in the edges and now the fifth panel has died with the blue vertical line down the center again.
Less than 300 hours on this TV
Absolutely disgusted, what a waste of money.
I should have kept the plasma.
Had a minor issue , 7 blinks of death and would not turn on till you unplugged it but only on a few really humid days out of the year.

These new TV's are all made like absolute garbage.
šŸ’© Hardware and even more šŸ’© software.
Even with root and homebrew channel I was not able to work around the CEC and eARC issues.
Why does anyone continue to buy this garbage?
My 77 inch LG OLED from 2020 is still going strong and I leave it on for 6 hours a day. So telling others your one data point is not accurate. If everyone has failing TVs then we would see more articles out there.

You had a bad experience. A single bad data point. I have a 48C1, a 65G2, a 77G3, and a 65G4, and they have all worked flawlessly from day one, exactly like the vast vast majority of LG OLED buyers.

It am has to be a lot more widespread since I got 5 panels that all failed in less than 300 hours in a row and over the course of like four years.
They can't all be from " the same bad batch" can they.
They sent different repair companies too, it wasn't even always the same people that came out.
Not seeing articles means nothing those are all shills who will just do everything to cover it up that is how media works.
Nothing but shills making excuses just like the current situation with Nintendo switch 2 and the price backlash.
All those outlets are in the tank for these companies because they are the sponsors and they know who pays the bills.
I am surprised there are not any class action suits yet though or maybe there were but I really haven't looked into It yet.
I just know I will never buy another LG product again and I Will not buy any other TV that uses their panels.
They have sufficiently demonstrated thar they have zero quality control standards for something like this to ever have happened at all ,even if it was rare and I severely doubt that it is.

Just got the 18% link. Do I just click on the link in the email and purchase? Not sure if it tracked as there's no confirmation that it did. When does it usually show up? Thanks everyone
If you click the capital one shopping extension when on the LG partner site, it should show if the offer is activated.
Editing to add: Capital One Shopping notes that "merchants can take up to a month to confirm or adjust Shopping Rewards eligibility and amounts. If your purchase doesn't show on your Rewards & Savings Dashboard within 30 days, please reach back out to us with an itemized receipt". So there's a bit of faith involved here for up to 30 days. At least there is a process for correcting things if your reward doesn't show up within 30 days.
