Vote with your wallet. Buy it if you think what Nintendo is doing is okay, if this is how you want to be treated; the choice is yours.

That's fair - I'm hoping the thread is helpful though for those trying to get ahold of one and not have to pay over retail on any marketplace.

Look for a deal on an OLED model

The Lite has a terrible screen, and it can't be plugged into a television

Literally ONE ****$80 game so far, and with the bundle it's $50. But it's fun to complain.

Mario Kart is 80, physical or digital in the USA. It's 90 in some other countries which accounts for the currency conversion difference.

I would buy this because performance of the open world Pokemon games on Switch 1 kind of sucks, and presumably it'd be better on this.

Mario Kart is what I am referring to, and it's included in the bundle for just $50 more. EDIT: You're right, I wasn't paying attention to the $80 vs $90 thing. Yes, people have been mislabeling the price.

If you're into portable gaming and have experience with handhelds like game boy, DS, PSP, Vita, etc then you will appreciate the Switch Lites "Game Boy" design. I love the lite.

Apparently every cart is digital download anyway so it is the move

Not all games, only a few so far are revealed to be Key Cards where it's essentially a small file and download the rest of the game. Each of those games are listed as such on the box art.

It really depends on your screen size preference as the lite and the switch 2 are very different but both are fine for pokemon
