The battery alone makes this a great deal at this price.

I am new to lawn maintenance, i recently bought EGO mower and looking for trimmer and blower deal. Does it make sense to by non ego blower and trimmer just to save 100 bucks. Or better off pay 100 more and get EGO? any reason to pay 100 more??.
Any inputs appreciated. TIA

Depends....a lot of the combo ego deals come with small batteries which are useless with the mower. You'll need to spend another couple hundred to get an ego combo deal with large battery. To me it isn't worth that price difference. So unless you have other ego products to use the smaller battery then it could be better to stay with ego.
I've used ego mower and bkack/decker trimmer. The trimmer just died so I'm going to upgrade my plug in blower along with the trimmer

Then I'd probably just go with this deal if your mower is fine doing is job with the single battery. My yard is pretty small so it didn't use up much battery.
140 with the 15% off code is a pretty solid deal

That's a pretty good sized yard. Might not hurt to have a backup battery, just make sure the backup battery will actually be useful size....no 2.5mah.
My yard is significantly smaller, likec1/3 ur size so a backup isn't too big of an issue

Q: Is this brushless?

A: Hi vs333, Thank you for your interest. Yes, both 60V units included in the combo have brushless motors. The Greenworks Brushless motors provides more power, longer runtime, quieter operation, and an extended motor life. We hope this information helped!

These units are not Search term:brushless.

Not sure why the discrepancy in answers. But the fact that they aren't advertising it as such is keeping me away.

Thank you for the responses , seems better off with having second full size battery on hand.

These are not brushless.
The box indicates that the blower has a brushless motor and the trimmer has a brushed motor.

Messaged customer care and they said that all their tools have brushless motors. Ordered one. Return policy is 30 days and only if it is unused they'll take it back.

I have the mower and 2 80V batteries. Is it better to go with a 80V trimmer and blower for @300 or would the power of these suffice? My lot size is 9500 sqft.
I think the 80v is too heavy for the trimmer, but just my opinion. I have a 20V worx trimmer and I absolutely love it. Very easy to use and lightweight. Blower is heavy too but at least it has a strap. I believe the lower models are a little less heavy
