I think warmer weather is the point for most ppl vacation in the Caribbean, and besides summer time works for most families with school aged kids. As for hurricane season, it runs from June to end of Nov, basically half year. I wouldn't worry too much.

Not necessarily...it's technically the offseason for a reason, but PR temps don't vary all that much. Hurricanes are always rolling the dice, but named storms usually get you a refund to help with the hassle.

Hurricanes are worse in September and October. August usually not too bad.

Is it safe for Americans to be in PR? There's no hate or bigotry towards Americans who aren't white?

As a resident I would agree. It has been reported that there will be programmed blackouts during the summer because the electric system can't handle the demand. I would pick May or August (late) dates. It doesn't help that August/September is prime time for storms. So...pick May?

Oh they vary. It's oppressively hot in the summer months, I used to live there.
