Not sure why astaxanthin does not get more attention for skin benefits. A lot of wrinkles and other skin blemishes are causes by sun exposure (which isn't bad in moderate amounts but most people forget to reapply sunscreen). Astaxanthin helps to prevent and heal this damage.

I am guessing the reason is cost but people should really be taking it. Its a far more potent antioxidant than vitamin e, vitamin c, lycopene, resveratrol (the stuff in grapes and wine), etc...

Thanks. 10 was coming up over 146 for me but bought 5 for 48 and change (seems to be the sweet spot at just under $10/lb)
