They both had their ups and downs, great games at the end of the day. I will say FC5 had WAY TOO MANY and WAY TOO LONG cut scenes and drugged out sections. ND just had a crappy story and the antagonists were annoying as crap. I didn't like the weapons, weird a$$ upgrade / currency system, or the camp concept in ND.

All that being said, base raiding in ND was a lot better, more like 3 so I guess it might take the cake for that reason alone.

I'll be honest I got past the intro of New Dawn and requested a refund. I had forgotten that New Dawn was the start of the Ubisoft full on lazy train. Turd auto generated lifeless environments, friggin enemy health bars??I! The game feels like it was done on some poor office workers Saturday.

I had assumed like "oh its a Far Cry 5 expansion, I liked Far Cry 5". Nope trash trash...trash trash trash.

I'm with you. I loved 5, but had a similar reaction to New Dawn. I think I gave it about 10 hours and just got bored.

I had a lot of fun with the game, but the $129 original price tag is a huge joke. Both of these together are regularly $25, so while it's a good deal at $17 it's not like it's really $112 off.

I have a lizard brain reaction where if I headshot, thats it games over.

Enemys like "Naw dog you gotta headshot me in this bandana I'm using as armor 8 times". I lose my mind. Like this is an FPS, not a RPG dude.

if its an ubi game it will aways require ubi connect anyway
