I have another Carote set very similar to this, and the bang-for-buck is awesome. I actually reach for these more than my Henckels (Spanish and German models) because they do almost as well and I don't have to worry about tossing them in the dishwasher.

Thanks for the input. Just grabbed one! Any suggestion on the non-stick ceramic coating longevity? Does it chip off with time in food etc?
