I put my own mix together, it's generally cheaper. I saved a canister from one I did buy, and put in cashews, almonds, walnuts, raisins, craisins, and peanuts. I buy the individual varieties of nuts in bulk and freeze them in plastic bags or jars.
This way I can control the mix. I don't put in chocolate, just a personal choice.

those are often mostly peanuts. i feel this should be regulated at this point and start putting percentages.

walmart brand is 9.17/40oz. ingredients are the same, but has raisins before chocolate. Not really seeing the deal by going to this brand.

In September I ordered the 38 oz container of Fisher's trail mix. It was $15 and pretty good. I just ordered Fisher's Summit trail mix (not received yet) that has 6 individual 4 oz packs for 11 oz. It seems like the brand in this deal is cheaper, but I think I will stick with the Fisher's. Another brand I liked was Kar's which is about the same price as this deal.

The Favorite Day brand from target is actually better value than this and generally more delicious.
