7g of saturated fat and nearly an entire day's worth of sodium in one 3-oz bowl of noodles is INSANE…

But I guess that's why they're so tasty.

All of these are fine. To some people, it is "comfort food" from their childhood like Kraft Mac-n-Cheese.
Adults know to add some ingredients to up the flavor and nutrition (not much nutrition in these as-is). Slice some green onions, add some chopped mushrooms, and perhaps 1/3 a can of cream of mushroom soup, then add your protein of choice for a little better meal.

Also, nobody says we have to use 100% of the spice packets. They come in 2 separate packets. I use all from the tiny copped things and about 1/3 from the paprika packet.

Personally, I like the ones with a seafood/lobster/crab flavorings - can add some pre-cooked shrimp or crawfish to those easily to raise the game and still be ready in 4 minutes. I haven't tried adding thinly sliced carrot strips, but I plan to if I have time to pre-cook them to softness. Doesn't that sound yummy?

Japanese ramyun don't have the intense spiciness of Korean ramyun.
