$6.85 S&S price, lowest per ounce price within the last few years for Lindt truffles. Grab it while it lasts.
Amazon is unloading all kinds of chocolate products before the summer hits and they can no longer ship them. Be on the look out.

I just bought these from Costco. Where did the lead report come from?

There was a 2023 report of high lead and cadmium levels in dark chocolates, not just Lindt.
The levels were within safe levels, so it wasn't causing any lead poisoning, but it was higher than the years before.
Milk chocolates were not reported with high levels, so this deal is not effected.

They tested bars, not truffles. And not only lead but cadmium too.

A customer can buy with food stamps. Good to know. Maybe Slickdeals can add a food stamp icon to deals.

Honestly if you're not referencing an actual test of the brand's product, You're just spreading disinformation. all chocolate has heavy metals from cacao production, but the extent of the pollution and plant uptake there is widely regional region and farm to farm. Larger chocolate suppliers do track this and they do pay attention to where their cacao is grown All the way down to the farmland, because some of it is too dirty to use. But the internal constraints different for every company, It's a lot of heavy metals are allowed in the food supply Even when they're damaging to children. Their cacao companies you can buy from that track it down to the specific farm and show you the results per batch tested.

Price went up and no more subscribe and save price, then no deal for probably old chocolates with probably GMO ingredients.

isn't that sign that it was probably stored at too high temperature? Or extreme temperature fluctuations? how bad is that? Or really old chocolate? what was the date on your package?

you didn't get that ingredient list off this exact item??……. What about the usage of GMO Sugar beet Sugar probably in these, Which means that the plants are probably sprayed with lots of the round up chemical. The company I think used to say they were non-GMO but they don't say anymore and can't get a straight reply from them which probably means they are using GMO ingredients, and these are pretty high in sugar so that would be a lot of junk in the chocolate. Wouldn't it be great if they made a low sugar or no sugar one?

Amazon thinks May 1st weather of 70 degrees is hot enough to pause this subscription what a joke.
