Nothing really stands out as a major deal.

Their highest discount is on a 512GB SATA drive that matches plenty of MSRPs from reputable brands.

Hate to say it, but Lexar is to flash memory what Memorex was to VHS.

Was Memorex generic for VHS? I don't quite recall.

Memorex was cassette tape for audio -- "Is it live, or is it Memorex"...something like that. I think they did all sorts of magnetic but their commercials were audio tapes.

Their tapes were crap and they held out on putting anything on sale even when DVD-R was starting to become available, then they did the same with DVD-R.

They were also on the wrong side of history in each generation's format wars, backing obscure mediums like mini disc.

NM790 with heat sink is $249 (https://www.amazon.com/Lexar-Inte...e0INT&th=1) which is the same deal I bit on in July 2024.
TBW is higher on NM790 than the NQ780.

Since they were bought out by a chinese company, the component quality isn't there anymore.

Won't even have to wait that long now that the chinese company YMTC has stolen all of Samsung's technologies and is flooding the market with NAND and DRAM. We might even get that cheap 128TB SSD Samsung was promising us back a decade ago in 2016.

That person trolls every SSD thread. I'm pretty sure YMTC doesn't even make DRAM. Also, I believe Samsung has licensed technology from them.
