I haven't seen one that people change to ¼" and seems like it'd be a little big to want that. I think this is, physically, a hair smaller than the 921.
I changed my DCF850 (driver) to ⅜" anvil, there may be a ¼" for that. Would def be a better sized tool for ¼" wrench.

Hard maybe, leaning towards probably not. I have this model with the 5 AH battery (the 2 AH batteries do not provide enough power for this to reach its full potential) and it struggles with the 150 ft-lbs torqued lug nuts on my SUV, often requiring me to get out the breaker bar. It's fine for the 100 ft-lbs lug nuts on my car.

921 is shorter and direct competitor for the Milwaukee. It has higher torque. I would not spend $100 more on the 921. If you can get a good deal I would get the 921. There is a video that compares all DeWalt models

I have this it's great. At first sight after picking it up I was kind of hesitant that I would like it as it was so small. It works great for mostly all automotive things I have used it on. The only thing i have tried to use it on that it would not break loose was my old water heaters rusted anode rod, but that's expected

That is what I am planning to used on replacecing my anode rod in my water heater. What did you used to loosing the anode rod in your water heater?
