Classic show, one of my favorites.
I think my favorite part is how, after watching maybe half a season, you realize that Danno is mainly there to be kind of a drab milquetoast and make Steve look cooler by comparison. It's always exciting when Steve wears a color other than blue for an episode, because Danny finally gets the rare treat of wearing his own blue suit. Bless his heart.

Lord really treated James MacArthur badly too. Wouldn't let him to have his own dressing room.

Well, if I held any illusions about Jack Lord, one of them was not "this guy seems humble and nice to work with."
Meanwhile Chin Ho Kelly was easily, and quietly, the coolest character on the show.

And a sharp dresser too! I think Chin was the only one married with a family?

Kono dropped his suit pretty early, but apparently was later fired.

TRIVIA - Legend has it that Elvis had 2 jumpsuit belts for his big 1973 Hawaii TV concert. One was given to Jack Lord. The second thrown to the audience.
