It is not about that. It is about good junk food tasting like crap vs the old junk food

Companies getting cheaper, using more chemicals have made these, cereals, other things just to name a few taste like crap vs older versions

Thanks for posting that, definitely passing also . Never even heard of this substance until your post. A quick search led me to a Reddit where people complained about the way they taste now compared to the old days which then led me to a site that compared the 9 ingredient ones from before to the new 13 ingredient chemical bath they are now.

Guessing the down votes are from Hershey stock holders .

If you're worried about the ingredients, should you really be buying these in the first place?!? It's JUNK food...

When I was a kid my grandmother used to put a huge milky-way bar in the freezer. We would take it out and crack it on the table. It would shatter like glass and tasted amazing. Tiday, all the candy bars-Hershey and Mars - taste like wax, especially the Halloween versions. Absolutely disgusting and depressing at the same time remembering what they used to be.

Definitely on to something here....the ingredients and recipe seem to change when the holidays roll around. Everything tastes chemically....mainly water and oil.
