Reviews on Depot state the cutter is way underpowered and the screwdriver is more like a kids toy.

I bought at Home Depot for $60 and I am happy with it. flash light is super bright, cutter works pretty good to cut cardboard boxes up for better fit in recycling bin, and screw driver is actually perfect to keep handy for small jobs that you dont need your 18v tools for. Love that it can pivot straight or right angled. I bought two more batteries and heated stadium seat for $50 from Home Depot as I wanted a battery for each item.

I own the screwdriver and it is definitely not a toy. It is built well, is ergonomic and works well for applications requiring low torque. Perfect for tasks like replacing lights switches or face plates around the house which can get tedious and tiring really quick with a regular screwdriver.

Project Farm just posted a comparison of a bunch of automated cutters: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GD0VczK5G5A

The Ryobi ones seem "fine" -- definitely a bad deal at $70 but an ok deal at $50 for it +buying into system, depending on how much you value the other things in the bundle

Interested in this package for the cutting tool, do you think it will work well on cutting carpet?
It's a middle of the pack cutter based on the projectfarm review but it looked like all of them cut through carpet like butter so the answer seems to be yes.

I have the screwdriver, use it all the time. The rotating handle is useful in situations.

I would like to have the cutter but Project Farm liked the Harbor Freight one more than this, and it's a simple USBc charging port (good and bad with that of course)... And since I don't need a flashlight or the screwdriver, for that reason I'm out.

Save your money. I got the cutter and it sucks. It doesn't even work well to cut cardboard.

I felt the same. It struggled with simple amazon boxes. Returned mine.

Yeah this is one of those only reviews from project farm I didn't like. He was cutting small pieces, once your cutting longer cardboard and it will get stuck. Only time I didn't like his comparison. All other videos have been great.

Yeah I was thinking about getting ZEITE that Projectfarm recommends for $40, but for $10 more, I'll get this Ryobi one instead. I'll be my intro to the USB Lithium battery platform.

I read it as a shark tank deal answer 😆

Guy is a national treasure. I wish he did a few different material types on this one like metal and hardware cloth.

I used to have the screwdriver and I liked it for small stuff around the house until I lost it in a move. I have a Skil now that doesn't hold a candle to it. That said, I'll almost exclusively be using this for cutting cardboard and I really want one of the ones that just sliced through without any catching in that review video. The Ryobi struggled a bit on cardboard.

Can confirm, I picked up this set specifically to help me break down cardboard boxes and the cutter was pretty worthless. It gets stuck easily and requires a lot of pressure to get it to cut reliably. It was so much more work than just a $5 box cutter.
