As far as pre-ground coffee goes, I like this stuff. This is intended for espresso, so It's ground a little finer than most coffee. However, it works just fine in drip machines and pour over methods.

That said, it occasionally goes on sale for $8.25 — that's what I paid in December— so this is only a lukewarm deal.

I agree that this is a lukewarm deal. It works out to $0.25/oz. There are sometimes deals for Lavazza at $0.18-$0.22/oz, and that's when it's a great time to stock up

It's nice addition to your regular daily coffee. I toss a bag into Costco medium roast bag and it's delicious

Just a heads up for anyone who hasn't purchased 'Crema e Gusto' before - it is not a medium roast. It's a dark roast. Not super oily burnt to a crisp dark, but dark with hints of oil.

It's no longer December. It's April and tariffs will probably increase the cost of all coffee. This could be $15 on sale next time you see it.

Exactly. Even if the tariffs remain at 10%... coffee is something we can't produce here and it will always be imported.

I'll offer a contrary opinion - the Lavazza espresso variants in my opinion don't translate into drip coffee well. I think Lavazza s pre ground options that are meant for drip are decent but their espresso blends (and I think I've tried all of them as drip) make an inferior cup of auto drip coffee. I did adjust and experiment with ratios since it's ground so fine for espresso.
