I think most of these taste good, but please note they are pretty small compared to most protein bars at 1.41 oz (compared to Quest at 2.12 oz, Barebells at 1.94, "One" at 2.12, etc.)

Maltitol, Soy, Erythritol. Literally a bar of poison

They're not literally poison, but you're right to be skeptical. Maltitol can cause digestive issues and spike blood sugar. Processed soy isn't great, and erythritol has some research linking it to possible blood clot risks (not fully proven). Most cheap protein bars are just ultra-processed junk — better to limit them or find cleaner options.

I thought I was good with maltitol but it caught up to me even only eating just one Barebell a day. I'm really liking those Pro Max bars currently.

Tried these and it tastes really good. Pretty much a candy bar. Better deal than Costco one

The five separate milk ingredients would have probably been a big clue too...

Have not tried these yet but I had the Reese's peanut butter ones and they were fantastic. Perhaps too good and I wanted to eat them too often. I was worried about the glycerin impacting carbs and weight loss but they did not seem to be a problem

Maltitol syrup reducing the "net" carb count is blatant false advertising. 52 on the glycemic index while cane sugar's 60. I'll stick to quest.

I think they are owned by Hershey's.

Price is decent, but the protein-to-calorie ratio isn't stellar. I look for < 10 calories per 1g protein.

While this isn't too far above that, it still puts it in the "candy bar" range for me. If you're looking for protein bars, Barebells is still my favorite. Right at 1:10 for most of their flavors. I've tried just about all of them and they're delicious.
