Surprisingly but was able to order 2 for pickup in one of my local stores. The store closest to me had it for $20.97, so will have to drive 5 extra minutes to save $5

It wasn't intended to sell for this low price, so that's not even an issue. It's likely a discontinued closeout in certain Lowe's stores.
Your description is very concerning! This is supposed to be manufactured here in the US, so what's up with the cheap quality! If I want cheap quality, I'll buy some POS on Amazon!

Their website is a PITA to navigate!....but at least they show you the price you'll pay if you make the pick up (or have it delivered) from a specific store. What I don't understand is why the price differs at different stores (in the same general area) That's bizarre!

What does "deal gone" mean? You need to check the stores in your area from their website. It's all dependent upon individual store inventory and the price at each store (which shouldn't vary, but it does).

Got one for pickup. No, not all stores are having the clearance prices and even those vary by store. I wanted the black one but it is not at this price. Had to settle for the white one. I am getting this for the fingerprint feature, which is convenient when you're holding grocery bags.
