I'll tell you another loophole they use in the grocery store. They sell "no nitrate" lunch meat, but what they use comes from celery juice, and it metabolizes in your body as.... nitrates.

Anyone compared the price in this deal vs Costco's regular price? My son is obsessed with cereals as breakfast and this is a brand I'd rotate to.
I bought Costco's "Canadian Farm Organic Blueberry Almond Crunch" cereal for the regular price of $14.29 on 4/14/25. The box includes 2 bags for a total net wt of 2 lbs 2 oz (34 oz). It tastes really good but is somewhat addictive. The Blueberry Almond cereal isn't on Costco's site but here's a link to that same 34 oz size on Amazon for $22.18. https://www.amazon.com/Organic-Ca...122&sr=1-1

The ingredients between the Blueberry Almond and Vanilla Crisp are the same except Blueberry Almond has the following additional bolded items.
"Whole Grain Wheat*, Rice*, Almonds*, Date Powder*, Whole Grain Oats*, Sunflower Oil*, Dried Blueberries*, Coconut Oil*, Sea Salt, Natural Flavor*. Vitamin E (mixed tocopherols) Added to Preserve Freshness. *Organic. Contains wheat, almond and coconut; may contain soy and sesame ingredients."
The blueberries and almonds help make it not as bland as the Vanilla Crisp but somewhat increases the calories. NOTE: The serving sizes in the ingredients list for each are different. The Vanilla Crisp is based on a 1-1/3 cup and Blueberry Almond on a 1 cup serving, which skews the % Daily Value (DV) comparison.

Thanks for the details! I didn't realize the differences. Also reading about the comments on the "no sugar added" claim makes me wonderโ€ฆ at least a good reminder to continue and rotate.

Every Cascadian deal on Amazon has turned out to be for tiny portions. 11 or 12 oz is probably going to last 3 to 4 servings max as compared to if you buy these at the grocery store/Costco where though a bit more expensive they are for larger quantity that would last for much more servings. So need to be careful with these so called "deals" on Cascadian.
One current deal that the coupon applies is for a larger 22 oz granola with 15% S7S comes to the $5.50 range:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DNRHW...UME6HVASTP

This is effectively $0.29 per oz, and my Costco has Cascadian farms cereal for $0.44 per oz. This is a better deal
