$2000 for a quartz chronograph is insane, spend a little bit more and get an automatic that will retain much of the purchasing price (assuming you get it 50% off like this one.)

This is a ceramic case with quartz movement watch. It's super light and doesn't feel like any other Breitling. It looks good on the wrist, but I never pulled the trigger because of how light it was.

I'll give my two cents as there's a bit of ignorance (IMO) in this thread:
Yes this is quartz, but it isn't your standard quartz. It's a superquartz, meaning it's thermo-compensated, COSC certified to +/- 10 seconds per year. Substantially more accurate than a traditional quartz. The material (Breitlight) is insanely durable and ridiculously lightweight. Does this justify the price? No, not really, but this is luxury watch territory, where most watches don't truly justify their prices.
I'm not a huge Breitling fan, as I believe their automatic movements are lacking (including their in-house movements). I'm more of an Omega guy, but I do own the Endurance Pro. It's ridiculously comfortable and the Breitlight material is the most scratch resistant case I've had on a watch.
I paid about this price for a second hand Endurance Pro. So if you're interested in this watch, it's a pretty solid price.
