I highly suggest an extended warranty of some kind. My 90+ year old mother likes Fitbits, and I have to buy her a new one constantly. These seem to fail as soon as the warranty expires like clockwork. The price has really gone up as well, I bought her last Fitbit Charge 6 for $79.99 in 11/2023. Of course it just failed. Contacting Amex for their extended warranty on it.

Question for folks that have this, i'm interested in a feature to track my heart rate and beep when its below a set threshold, for exercise routine. Can this tracker do it? without the subscription? IF not, please recommend something else that would work for this feature i'm looking for, without subscription. Thanks in advance!

Fitbit Charge HR measurement precision is somewhat low while exercising and it does not accept strap HR sensors. Also there is no functionality to indicate that heart rate is below specified level. You should check Garmin units that accept strap sensors.
