It depends on the gaming resolution you're aiming for. 5070 is made for 1440p gaming while 5070 TI is for 4K.
Is 5070 good enough for 1440p Ultra wide max settings?
I'm looking to play Mechabreak at max settings on this res but haven't seen any benchmark.
Edit: nm, found it: https://youtu.be/lsXAhCtpJck
Looks like 92-120fps at 1440p max settings. With ultra wide, it should be 80-110, which is good enough for me. Gonna keep my 5070FE and stop trying for 5070ti or 9070xt.

These prices are crazy!!! I'm just going to stick with my 3070 for the long haul. It's not worth it to me to pay these prices to be able to see a character's nose hair!!!
I also got a 5070FE at Best Buy for $550... this is 50% more for about 23% higher performance... I think I'll pass for now... I'll keep my eyes posted for a 5080 Super FE in the future...
I bought and have a GIGABYTE 5070 Ti, and I do not recommend them because of an article on Tom's Hardware...
"Gigabyte addresses RTX 50-series thermal gel leak, blames over-application in early production units | Tom's Hardware"
Apparently, early GIGABYTE nVidia RTX 5000-series may leak thermal gel inside a PC. I don't appreciate that.

5070's don't have 16GB ram.

Yep, understand that... but the 5070 is still much better than the 3060 Ti that I have now with 8GB of RAM... that's why I'll keep it for now and wait for a 5080 Super (I hope it'll have 20GB or 24GB)...
